Fayetteville—Anna Rose Dees "Ann", age 91 passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, April 30, 2021.
Ann was a dedicated military wife, mother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Wesley Dees III in 2004. They laughed together for 57 years. Today they are dancing together again. Also, her son Michael in 2019.
She is survived by her three sons; John IV, Steven, and Samuel Dees, her brothers; George (Marilyn) of New Jersey and Pasquale "Pat" (Carole) Vallone of New York, and sister (in-law); Deborah (Grady) Lenoir of Alabama.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 4 at 11am at St. Patrick Church, 2840 Village Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304. Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband in the St. Patrick Church Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Care Clinic, www.thecareclinic.org, in which Ann was a long-standing supporter of.
