Obituary for Michael Fluellen

Mr. Michael Fluellen affectively more known as “Flu” or “Papa” was Born December 16th, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia to the origin of the late Elease Davis Fluellen and King Fluellen Sr.

Michael Fluellen attended Muscogee County School until the age of 18, he then joined the army in 1974. Michael was joined in holy matrimony twice. To these unions 5 children were born: Dexter, Michelle, Felicia, Michael, and Karl Fluellen. He retired from the Army as a SSG with 20 years of service. He received many Honors, Certificates, Diplomas , a Degree and was a successful independent mechanic with his own automotive shop known to many as “Flu’s Automotive Repair”. His joy was his grandkids, functions at the church, and working on cars. He helped with the youth and the treasure of the church and had a hard time saying no to anyone. Mr. Michael Fluellen was the toughest, kindest, humored, loving, helping, smoothest, firm and reliable man a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin or Friend could be.

Mr. Michael Fluellen accepted his callings with his home Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of the Kings men Choir, Laymen’s League, Sig Mass Choir, 4 Him Ministry, and Mission Group Joanna.



Preceding him in death was his Mother Elease Davis Fluellen, his father King Fluellen Sr. His sister Sarah Turner, his brother King Fluellen Jr., his brother Abraham “Pete” Fluellen, his daughter Felicia L. Fluellen and His son Michael Marcus Fluellen.

Michael Fluellen Leaves to cherish his memories: his one Brother Earnest Fluellen of Columbus Georgia ; three sisters Exie Harris of Columbus, Georgia, Carrie Ann Daniels of Powder Springs, Georgia and Stella F. Howard of Columbus, Georgia ; Two Sons Dexter Lamar Fluellen of Columbus, Georgia ; Karl Andrew Fluellen of Fayetteville North Carolina ; One daughter Michelle Alesha Fluellen of Columbus Georgia ; Five Grandchildren Datron Mitchell Fluellen, Dexter Lamar Fluellen Jr., Alexis Marie Rolle, Elijah DeSean Bulger, Jakori DaQuan Hood, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and very close friends.
