Obituary for Edgar Davis Redmond Jr.

Born to Edgar Davis Redmond, Sr. and Celo Burns on March 3, 1944. MSG (Retire) Edgar Davis Redmond, Jr., at the age of 74, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home in Fayetteville, North Carolina.


He retired from his federal service civilian career as an Information Management Specialist for JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command), on Pope Air Force Base.


Edgar hobbies were writing poems, short stories and maintaining the yard. While enlisted in the military he loved traveling with his beautiful family.


He is survived by: his loving wife, Flora Mae Redmond; his daughters, Phyllissia N. Allmond (Michael), Jennifer N. Redmond, Sheila Redmond and Patricia Minton (Randy); his sister, Eleanor Ashe; his brother, Johnny L. Redmond; and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
