We are so sad to hear of the passing of Ms. Estella, who was close to our family(like an aunt) and we had much love for her. She was a true and faithful friend to our mother and always checked on her by visiting or calling until she passed in 2013. You all have our deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace with God.
With Love, from the children of Clifton (Jack) and Essie Lee McRae. Queen McRae, Barbara Elliott, Shirley Gardner, David McRae, Betty Strong, Reginald McRae

My Aunt Stella, from my earliest memories of her, would often buy beautiful dresses for me. I knew she was proud of me and she always said I was a "good little girl." I knew she loved me because of the gifts she gave me, but I felt the love she had for me. She was one of the most independent and strongest women I've ever know. She participated in the Civil Rights protests. She was the only one who could put my dad in his place. Most important, she loved her God and served him until her dying days. She said "If the Good Lord never does another thing for me, he's done enough!" I know I'll miss her, but I thank God that He allowed her to be in my life.
