Freddie Neil Brown of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday September 27th, 2022, at the age of 67 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Mary Brown Five Brothers, Wayne Brown, James Brown, Bill, Cade, One sister Margaret.

Neil was a loving husband, Father, Father in-law, papa, and Friend. Neil had 28 years of
service at the City of Fayetteville Fire Dept where he retired but nothing brought him more
joy than to watch his family follow in his footsteps as firefighters, once he retired, he enjoyed
spending his time camping with his wife, kids, and grandkids.

Neil is survived by his beloved Wife Laura Brown of the home, Two sons, Lewis Brown wife
(Debra); Freddie Brown II wife (Tamara); Two Sisters Joyce Shaver (Harvey), Barbara
McBee, Six grandkids, Dustin Powell, Thomas Neil Brown, Corra Brown, Tyler Downer,
River Downer, and Joshua Downer. One Great Grandson Jaxon Powell and Many nieces
and Nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM on October 4th, 2022, at Hope Mills United
Methodist Church. A Visitation will be held After the Memorial Services in the Life Center
behind the church.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and say thank you to the nurses at Cape
Fear he had some wonderful people that worked with him though out his hospital stays and
We can Not forget Megan she was there every step of the way she will never know how
much she means to our family.

Family will accept visitors at the home
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PFF (givesmart.com) Pulmonary
Fibrosis Foundation or to Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel
