Condolence: As I read the tributes for Mr. Harlan, I noted that all had a recurring thought. They all mentioned his smile and how they each would miss him. Those comments reveals a lot about Mr. Harlan. They attest to his being a positive person and wanting to share that love and joy with his fellow man. Just like them your loving Father takes note of each human and he remembers those who have died. Those who are in his memory will be among those that wiill come forth when Jesus call. (John 5:29) Until that time know that God will infuse you with the strength need to cope succesfully with your loss.

Condolence: Joe will certainly be missed. You could always see him walking around with his camera around his neck and probably smiling like he was getting ready to do something to make someone laugh. I remember going to his office and requesting some photos that he had taken of our department and him saying "I am late to take some pictures of a command group; I will get back with you". Unfortunately, that will never happen now. You were a great Soldier down here and I am sure you will continue to be in charge where you are.....taking pictures. Rest in peace Joe. You have fought the good fight.
