Ms. Joyce, as I knew her was pleasant with a pleasant smile. No matter if I saw her at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church singing in the choir or at Food Lion, it was also good to see her. Our last conversation was about be ready to sing again at church! Going to miss you🙏🏾

LaJoyce was my best friend for nearly 25 years. She was the God Mother to my children and was more like the sister I never had. My Mother loved LaJoyce as her own daughter. She had a beautiful spirit, down to earth personality, very loving to her family and friends and very respectful to all. My dear friend (Big Sis) please know that your Little Sis and extended family loved you . You will truly be missed. To the family, we send our sincere condolences.
