Obituary for Marcella Reynolds (Norwood)

Marcella fell into the arms of Jesus
and received her wings on August
20, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Marcella was born on November 1, 1956 to the
late Helen L. McCann and Reginald Norwood of
Fayetteville, North Carolina. Marcella was later
raised by her father, Mack McCann in Hollywood
Heights. She received her education at Seventy-First
Senior High School, class of 1974. After high school
she attended Methodist College.
Marcella worked on Fort Bragg in the dining facility
for several years, before relocating to Atlanta,
Georgia in 1991. In 1999, she returned home to Fayetteville,
North Carolina, and began working with
Boddie-Noell where she was a dedicated and a wellrespected
employee for many years.
To know her was to love her she had a heart of
gold and was loved by many, never met a stranger.
Marcella loved cooking for her loved ones and
caring for her father on a daily basis. She was the
life of the party and loved to smile. Marcella was a
funny, caring, warm hearted, and her grandbabies
were her heart and soul. The love she held for her
two children was inseparable! She will definitely be
missed.

Marcella was preceded in death by her mother
Helen L. McCann; father, Reginald Norwood and
brothers, Kevin Norwood and Claude Fuller.
Left to cherish her loving memories are: fiancé, Willie
E. Terry; her daughter, Tanisha (Dollface) Reynolds of
Atlanta, Georgia; her son, LaDaryl (Shawn) Norwood
of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren;
Azharia Watson (20), Natajjay Norwood (19), Jamiaya
Norwood (19), Jaylan Brown (18), LaDaryl Norwood
Jr., (17) and Kalauni Powell; (6) three sisters, Pamela
Glasper of Augusta, Georgia, Demetris Williams
of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Syrvella Hall of
Jersey City, New Jersey; three nephews; Antonio
Norwood, Timothy Norwood (Brandee Norwood)
and Lorenzo Williams; one aunt, Alma Fuller of
Fayetteville, Nc and cousin/brother, Harold, a host
of other relatives, awesome friends and loved ones.
